1. The Annual Membership Fee for Ordinary Members of the Society shall be as follows:
(a) Ordinary Members resident in India/other SAARC countries Rs. 200.00
(b) Ordinary Members residing in USA/Canada/Mexico/South America/ Europe/Japan/
Australia and New Zealand US$ 25.00
(c) Institution admitted by the Council as Ordinary Member Rs.300.00
(d) Ordinary Student Member resident in India Rs. 150.00

2. An Institutional Member shall mean an institution or organization approved by General Body of being elected as Ordinary Member of the Society. Institution Member shall exercise their rights and privileges of membership through a representative duly nominated by the appropriate authority by the member-institutions or organizations. Member-institutions or organizations shall have the right to change their representative from time by giving a written notice to the Secretary of the Society by registered post. Any representative of a member institution or organization, who may be elected to other any administrative body or organization of the society, shall automatically vacate such membership or office as soon as he/she ceases to represent the member Institution or organization in the Society. His successor representative shall, however, not be deemed as automatically elected or appointed to such office.

3. Life Membership fee: -
(i) For Resident Indian and SARRC Countries Rs.3000.00
(ii) Non-Resident Indian other than SARRC Countries # US$ 350.00

Payment for life membership can be made in cash directly to the Treasurer, TIES or in the form of cheque or demand draft in favour of The Indian Econometric Society and sent to the Treasurer, TIES. For cheque, an additional Rs. 50 can be added to cover bank charges.
