The Indian Econometric Society organises annual conferences where experts from various parts of the country participate and deliberate on various issues in econometrics. The 48th in the series, is scheduled to be held in January 2012, and the venue would be Pondicherry University, Puducherry.


Short courses in econometrics are also held from time to time with the help of various academic institutions, for the benefit of the younger generation of econometricians.
